Trust me, it is really simple and straightforward as long as you know what to look out for.
Here are a few simple Troubleshooting issues that you can fix yourself without the help of a technician.
Not powering up
Is your Karaoke machine not turning on? Well, sometimes the answer is as simple as plugging the power chord in the right outlet. Check if your karaoke machine is plugged in and make sure you check both the outlet end and the cord end that is connected to the machine. Then check if your Karaoke machine turns on or not.
Sometimes it could also be because of a faulty electrical outlet. In such a case, check the outlet by plugging in a different appliance and see if it is working or not. If it doesn’t work, then you know that the problem is in the outlet itself.
If your karaoke machine is battery-operated, then check the battery and see if there is any battery leakage which is causing this malfunction.
Once you have taken the above steps, you need to check your Karaoke machine more closely. Check for any exposed or cracked wiring. If you have a battery-operated karaoke machine, then check if the connectors are bent or corroded. You can fix a bent connector by bending it back into place and you can remove corrosion with help of a vinegar paste.
No sound or video
If your Karaoke machine is playing no sound and/or is not displaying any lyrics on the screen, then you will need to perform a couple of steps to determine the root cause of this issue. Check if you have attached the correct wire to your TV set or not. Make sure that you have connected the correct function toy your TV and then test your Karaoke machine again. Make sure that the TV is connected to the display function and the speakers are connected to the sound function. You can use the help of the instruction manual to make sure that you have done this step right.
Also, try to turn up and down the volume so that you will get a better idea of the problem. If all of this is correct, then check the wiring for any damages and make sure the wires are plugged into the right spots on your TV.
If your CD player refuses to recognize your CDs, then you will first need to check for dirt or scratches and fix them before you proceed with anything. Make sure that you wipe clean the CD and then polish it to get rid of all the scratches. If it still doesn’t work, then try different CDs to see if it is a machine problem or a CD problem.
